GENIVAR has been awarded in consortium to plan an Olympic-size ice skating arena project at the Estacades sports complex in Trois Rivieres. Once completed, the expanded complex will measure 8,000 square metre (86,000 sq. ft.), with seating for 800 people and standing room for 250 more. Key features include a double gymnasium, an aerobics room, a press gallery, two multimedia rooms, a play area and dining facilities. Approximately 20 rental offices will be available for use by health professionals.
