Description

The Town of Newcastle required a replacement arena for the Town of Bowmanville, a major urban centre within the Regional Municipality of Durham. GENIVAR/PBK was selected to provide a full range of design and management services to facilitate the construction of a quality arena and multi-purpose room situated at a high-profile location within the town. Project highlights of this $4.4M project include:

600 seat multi-purpose room.

700 seat arena with an allowance for 700 "bleacher" type seats.

Provision for the expansion of the multi-purpose room and possible addition of an artificial outdoor ice surface.

Six dressing rooms with shower and washing facilities.
