On January, 2007, a windstorm caused a tear in the roof of BC Place. The 55,000 seat spectator facility in Vancouver, British Columbia is set to host the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Olympics. GENIVAR, who were the original architects and engineering designers, were on the scene to assist in successfully deflating the roof. Within 2 weeks, the roof was completely repaired and re-inflated.
