Power & Co-Generation

HYDRAULICS
GROUP INC.

The use of small hydro electric plants is prevalent in Ontario and the hydraulic components of these plants serve multiple uses. Their primary purpose is to provide power to the industry and the public; however a secondary function is to reuse the energy (i.e. hot water) to provide heating for the facility and sometimes surrounding consumers' homes and businesses. EHG has investigated cooling and heating water systems, hydro tailrace and shutdown issues, and two different types of Penstock investigations impacting a canal and generating station respectively.
